Description
English: "Dolní ratajský" pond is the geographical name of a water reservoir with localed named " Dolní Rataják". The pond has an area of 1,3358 ha and was built in 1910 in the landscape area of "Kameničská" Highlands on the cadastral territory of Hlinsko in the Chrudim district belonging to the Pardubice Region in the Czech Republic. The water reservoir is part of a ponds-system with name "Ratajské" ponds, also of nature monument and of European-important locality of the same name. Ponds are used for fish farming. The location is located in the Protected Landscape Area "Žďárské" hills. Photo location: Czechia, Pardubice Region, town Hlinsko, "Dolní ratajský" pond (photo azimuth 60°), "Kameničská" highlands.
Čeština: Dolní ratajský rybník je zeměpisný název vodní nádrže s pomístním názvem Dolní Rataják. Rybník má plochu 1,3358 ha a byl vybudován v roce 1910 v krajinné oblasti Kameničské vrchoviny na katastrálním území města Hlinsko v okrese Chrudim náležejícím do Pardubického kraje v České republice. Rybník je součástí rybniční soustavy nazvané Ratajské rybníky, také přírodní památky a evropsky významné lokality stejného jména. Rybníky jsou využívané pro chov ryb. Lokalita leží v Chráněné krajinné oblasti Žďárské vrchy. Foto lokace: Česko, Pardubický kraj, město Hlinsko, Ratajské rybníky, Dolní ratajský rybník (foto azimut 342°), Kameničská vrchovina.

Dolní Rataják výškou hladiny ovlivňuje současně hladinu vody na přilehlém rašeliništi a má tak vliv na růst rašeliništních mechorostů, v letních měsících bývá voda v rybníku zakalena zvířenými sedimenty a trpí nedostatkem zooplanktonu, rybníky jsou z hlediska hospodářského chovu ryb využívány organizací ČRS v Hlinsku.
