Summary

DescriptionRathaus Wolfen.jpg	Deutsch: RATHAUS BITTERFELD-WOLFEN, EHEMALIGES HAUPTGEBÄUDE DER ORWO FILMFABRIK WOLFEN 1909 gründete die Agfa AG die Filmfabrik Wolfen, die später mit der Marke ORWO (Abk. für Original Wolfen) das Monopol auf die Filmherstellung in der DDR hatte. Das Gebäude mit der werksinternen Nummer 041 wurde zwischen 1936-1939 erbaut als “Wissenschaftliches Zentral-Laboratorium der Photographischen Abteilung der Agfa. Architekt war Regierungsbaumeister Adolf Herberger. Es beherbergte neben dem Labor auch die Verwaltung. Für die Verwaltung wurde ein halbrunder Bau mit einem zentralen Turm (mit Uhr und Agfa-Zeichen) und zwei Ecktürmen errichtet.
