Español: De color general marrón, más clara por debajo. Alas y cola cortas con líneas transversales oscuras. Macho y hembra son de colores similares.
Comportamiento: Generalmente se la ve sola o en parejas. Confiada. Se suele acercar a las viviendas humanas. Se alimenta de insectos y otros invertebrados. Suele estar en permanente movimiento recorriendo árboles y arbustos en busca de alimento. Suele llevar la cola parada. Posee un canto agradable. Hábitat: Campos arbolados, chacras, parques y jardines, incluso en pueblos y ciudades. Distribución: Está presente en todo el territorio uruguayo. Además, se la encuentra en casi toda América, desde Canadá a Tierra del Fuego. Residente todo el año en el Uruguay, en donde nidifica. No migra. |
