Description
English: This image shows the evangelich church in Rechenberg in the Eastern Ore Mountains.
Deutsch: Blick auf die evangelische Kirche in Rechenberg im Osterzgebirge. In Rechenberg bestand mind. seit Ende des 16. Jahrhunderts eine Kapelle. Eine erste Kirche wurde 1615/19 erbaut. Diese wurde 1899/1901 durch einen größeren Neubau im neugotischen Stil ersetzt, um der gestiegenen Einwohnerzahl gerecht zu werden. Altar, Kanzel, Taufstein und Lesepult wurden aus der alten Kirche übernommen.
