Description
Español: Esta recreación de la figura del General San Martín actualiza la imagen que tenemos del prócer. Fue realizada en conjunto con el Regimiento de Granaderos a Caballo. Tanto el jinete como el caballo forman parte del Regimiento creado por el propio San Martín en 1812. El uniforme que se ve en la imagen es una réplica confeccionada por Sastrería Militar, que tomó como referencia el retrato del prócer realizado por José Gil de Castro, actualmente expuesto en el Museo Histórico Nacional. La foto se realizó en Buenos Aires, Argentina, en julio de 2019. Fue producida por la Secretaría General de la Presidencia para homenajear al General San Martín con una bandera en su honor en el frente de la Casa Rosada.
