English: Red valerian (Centranthus ruber) Growing from the side of one of the lime kilns at Cotehele Quay. The gate and driveway in the background leads to Cotehele House. The steep, winding road was used by horses pulling loads of limestone and coal up to the top of the lime kilns. |
