| Description |
English: Refuelling Donaghadee lifeboat. Lifeboats are expected always to have a full tank of fuel. At stations with an all-weather boat, where there is no convenient supply (for example in a marina) or no suitable place for a tank, refuelling is by means of a bowser hauled by a tractor or Land Rover. The antennae of the lifeboat 815880 can be seen behind the crew member. Any spilled fuel is cleaned up afterwards to avoid pollution. |
