Description

Regen is a city in in Bavaria, Germany. The image shows the church St. Michael, which dates back to 1148 but has been rebuilt and renovated several times.

The name "Regen" reminds of the german word for rain, but comes from the city's location at the river Regen, which was "Regin" in ancient times, and the origin of that name is still under discussion.
