Deutsch: Das Rehdener Geestmoor ist nur durch einige wenige Wege erschlossen, auf denen sich die charakteristischen Besonderheiten des Moores aber sehr gut erleben lassen. Hauptanziehungspunkt im Rehdener Geestmoor ist der Aussichtsturm am Südrand am Moordamm. Auf drei Etagen sind weite Einblicke in die weite Moorlandschaft möglich. Dies ist der beste Aussichtspunkt für spektakuläre Kranichbeobachtungen im späten Herbst. Dieser hat eine Höhe von knapp 10 m und steht unmittelbar an der Straße »Moordamm«. Von dort aus offenbart sich die Weite des Moores mit seinen zahlreichen nassen Flächen.
Direkt am Turm wurde ein kleiner Besucherparkplatz angelegt. Hier ist auch der Startpunkt zu einem 1,2 km langen beschilderten Rundgang durch Moorbirkenwald, trockenere Moorheiden und renaturierte Handtorfstiche (Quelle: naturpark-duemmer.de) Das Bild entstand am östlichen Rand des Moores. |
