Description
Català: Relleu romà al revers de l'escut dels Corella, museu municipal de Cocentaina. L'escut dels Corella, trobat el 1983 al pati del palau comtal, aprofita una placa de marbre, probablement de Carrara, que correspon a la part de l'entaulament d'un edifici romà. Aquest estava decorat amb una successió de bucranis (cranis de bous) enllaçats amb garlandes vegetals. La peça romana quasi amb seguretat prové d'Itàlia, potser de la regió de Nàpols, ciutat que fou conquerida per Alfons el Magnànim en 1443 i en la que va participar de manera important el primer comte de Corella, Eiximen Peres.
