Summary
editDescriptionRemnants of former club house in Manychsky, Yashaltinsky District, Kalmykia 02.jpg |
English: Remnants of the former club house of the village of Manychsky, Yashaltinsky District, Republic of Kalmykia, Russia. Only the ruins of the center part (the entrance) of the building are left. In the past, the building also had two wings. The building was used as a club, dance hall, concert hall, cinema etc. There also was a carrousel in front of the building during Soviet times, but by the end of the 1990s only ruins of the carrousel were left. In 2023, there was no trace of the carrousel left and the club house itself is also gradually disappearing. The club house is right next to the former administrative building and the World War II memorial of the village. The building is opposite the school of the village, which is still under operation. There also was a kindergarten next to the club house, but it ceased operation in the 2010s and by 2023 there was hardly anything left of the kindergarten building. |
