Description A U.S. Air Force Republic F-105D-5-RE Thunderchief (s/n 59-1719) shown in the markings of the 4th Tactical Fighter Wing. This aircraft was later assigned to the 354th Tactical Fighter Squadron, 355th Tactical Fighter Wing, and to enemy 37 mm anti-aircraft fire over Laos on 16 January 1966. The pilot, Don C. Wood, was listed as missing in action.
