Description
English: Sailors onboard the Republic of Korea Navy submarine Lee Chun (SS 062) stand at the ready, as they prepare to go pier-side in Apra Harbor, Guam (USA), on 19 March 1999. The Koreans are joining by other allied forces in Guam to participate in Exercise TANDEM THRUST '99. Korean ships participated in HARPOONEX, part of a live-fire, multinational naval exercise with the U.S. Navy during which an decommissioned cruiser USS Oklahoma City (CG-5) was sunk by Lee Chun.
