Summary
editDescriptionResting-state functional connectivity effects of Floatation-REST.jpg |
English: Functional connectivity between and within hubs of the default mode network is reduced by Floatation-REST (three 90 minute sessions of float tank therapy) in healthy volunteers. Functional connectivity is also reduced between the default mode network and the somatomotor network. A similar yet weaker pattern was observed for a control condition in which volunteers reclined in a memory foam chair in a dark and quiet room instead of floating. |
