Français : Lettre en franchise militaire pour le Tonkin, postée à Nice le 7/5/42 avec la griffe de retour "RETOUR A L'ENVOYEUR / Courrier pour l'Indochine limité aux / Cartes Postales non recommandées". L'expéditeur ayant déménagé entre-temps, elle ne lui sera remise qu'un an plus tard le 13/4/43. On ne sait où elle a été bloquée et mise en attente.

Retour à l'envoyeur après Pearl harbour

Lettre affranchie au tarif franco-colonial à 1F50 pour Pleiku en Annam, postée à Lyon le 11/7/42 avec la griffe de retour "RETOUR A L'ENVOYEUR / Courrier pour l'Indochine limité aux / Cartes Postales non recommandées". Mention manuscrite "Revenue le 12 avril 1943". Les lettres étaient conservées un certain temps en attente de nouvelles possibilités d'acheminement puis finalement retournées en cas de décision administrative.
