El papel leptográfico es un tipo de papel fotográfico inventado por José Martínez Sánchez, asociado con J. Laurent, en el año 1866, en Madrid, España. Este tipo de papel tuvo difusión limitada en España y Francia, entre los años 1866 y 1870. El "papel leptográfico" puede distinguirse porque se araña con facilidad, apareciendo debajo la capa de barita, de color blanco. En la superficie tiene colodión, y por eso se pueden ver irisaciones.
