Description
Norsk bokmål: Foto overført fra Riksarkivets album «Rettsaken mot Agnar Mykle og Harald Grieg» på Flickr med følgende beskrivelse:

Etter utgivelsen av Sangen om den røde rubin i 1956 ble Agnar Mykle og direktøren i Gyldendal, Harald Grieg, tiltalt etter straffelovens § 211 nr.1b, for utgivelse av utuktige skrifter. Det ble ført straffesak både mot dem og mot boka.

Etter dom i Oslo byrett 10. oktober 1957 ble de tiltalte frikjent på grunn av rettsvillfarelse. Boka ble derimot gjort ulovlig og restopplaget inndratt. Det ble slått fast at romanen var utuktig. Boka og satsen til boka skulle etter ordre fra Riksadvokaten øyeblikkelig beslaglegges hos forlaget og i alle landets bokhandler.

Dommen ble anket og opphevet av Høyesterett 9. mai 1958.
