| Description |
Stan Reynolds was a businessman from Wetaskiwin Alberta who ran several car dealerships and also sold farming equipment. He was an avid collector of cars and other modes of transportation. He saw that technology was changing before his eyes and decided to preserve it in his collection. A large portion of the collection at the museum was donated by Stan Reynolds between the 1980's until his death in 2012. In addition to the numerous automobiles, tractors, and threshers, there's also a grain elevator cutout inside. You can move the gerber around just like you would in a real grain elevator. The scale model of a wooden grain elevator is also very interesting. The town of Wetaskiwin is currently home to one of the very few UGG branded wooden grain elevator still wearing the blue and white paint scheme in Alberta. Outside the museum, there's also a large display of airplanes. Very interesting and extensive collection. Stan Reynolds' personal history and traits are quite the read. |
