Description

They just look so good in black and white. You can just see some people admiring the handiwork, near a plaque which tells people about the viaduct, and the people who built it.

The area around the viaduct was shanty towns where the 2000 navvies and their families lived. Apparently you can still find remnants of them in the grassy undergrowth.
