Description
Deutsch: Der 18-jährige Gefreite Richard Hess (geboren am 10. Oktober 1896 in Frankfurt am Main; gefallen am 10. August 1918 bei Fouquescourt, Frankreich) in einem Fotostudio auf einem Militärübungsplatz bei Darmstadt, 1914. Er diente zuletzt in der 3. Kompanie des Königlich Preußischen Reserve-Infanterie-Regiments Nr. 46 und wurde mit dem Eisernen Kreuz 2. Klasse dekoriert.
English: The 18 year old private Richard Hess (born on 10 October 1896 in Frankfurt am Main; shot on guard by a British sharpshooter on 10 August 1918 near Fouquescourt, France) in Frankfurt. At last he served at 3rd company of Royal Prussian Reserve Infantry Regiment No 46 and got decorated with the Iron Cross II. class.
