“Waterloo 11mo 13th 1831
Esteemed Friend
Your favour of the 5th inst is at hand by which I learn you will Transfer the Bond & Mortgage (on 100 acres on Lot No 57 Junius. Executed by Lawrence D Burtch for $1037.41/100 it being the Ballance due for said Land to me upon the receipt of the money or draft for that amt. the person that I proposed to send it by had started for N York before Burtchs return. I have herewith Indorsed a draft for the amt. the Bond & Mortgage I shall send by Patrick Hubbard who has business with you, and will start in a day or two. I wish you would send them and the deed by him with directions to deliver them to me in person. by so doing you will oblige Your Friend R.P. Hunt
