Summary
editDescriptionRichards House.jpg |
English: Newton Copeland Richards, a cotton merchant, built this lovely home at 975 Peabody in Memphis, TN in 1883. He was President of the Memphis Cotton Exchange from 1902-1903. He dies in 1935 and is buried in historic Elmwood Cemetery. The home has been vacant for years but is now, hopefully, at the point of being restored thanks to Memphis Heritage and partners.
