Description
English: Rideau Street 1896 looking eastward. Sappers Bridge (right), Dufferin Bridge (left), Wm Howe, 26 Rideau Street., Streetcar. The vacant lot would be occupied later by the Corry Block 16-24 Rideau St, (and the Union Station west of it). This view is from the postoffice. (A similar view from 1929 is in Rideau_Street_03.jpg, whereas the photo Rideau_Street_07.jpg is slightly east of this)
