Description
Deutsch: Rijksmuseum van Oudheden, Tilgath-Pileser blesses his army. 2700 year old relief from Nimrud, Iraq. The king sits on a throne and has a long rod in his right hand and a flower in his left. According to excavation diagrams, which were drawn before the relief was cut into pieces, the king was blessing a high ranking officer and a solider before a battle.
