El Grupo para Protección Ambiental Activa (GRUPAMA) es la ONG que gestiona Rincón de Franquía. La integran vecinos de la zona que preocupados por la preservación de este paraíso natural, le pusieron toda la onda y muchísimas horas de trabajo para lograr el cuidado de esta zona. Hoy han conseguido que por fin integre el SNAP como área de manejo de hábitat y especies.
