English: The largest tree is the 200 - year old Ringve Beech (Fagus Sylvatica) in Ringve Botanical Garden, Trondheim, Norway. Situated more than 63 degrees North, this tree has a circumference of 4.35 m at chest height. European beech is not native to Trondheim, but is commonly planted in parks and private gardens.
