Italiano: "Ritratto della Contessa Silvia Collato
Si tratta di un ritratto di scuola fiamminga della Contessa Silvia Collalto moglie del Marchese Federico Gonzaga Poviglio. Interessante la vicenda che ha portato alla recente scoperta dell’identità della nobildonna: i restauri eseguiti nel 2015-16 hanno portato alla luce un raffinato cartiglio in cui è dettagliata l’identità della contessa: è la figlia di Collaltino Collalto, personaggio leggendario del rinascimento, uomo d’armi e di lettere profondamente amato della poetessa veneziana Gaspara Stampa. Silvia sposa il Marchese Federico Gonzaga Poviglio, mentre sua sorella minore Vittoria sposa Giacomo Malvezzi. Evidentemente, il ritratto giunge a Dozza dall’eredità Malvezzi. Curioso osservare come la scritta che indica l’identità del personaggio era stata volutamente coperta da una pesante vernice e al personaggio era stata data l’identità di Paola Bentivoglio (così negli inventari)."
