English: Rivelin Valley Road Bridge, Malin Bridge, Sheffield - 1. The 'Flood Defence' work by the Environment Agency has 'opened up' this view of the 'new bridge' at Malin Bridge ... the 'old bridge .. the Malin Bridge' being just visible in the background. The blue girder section is actually over a Dam which held water to power the Burgin & Ball Factory just off the picture to the right. The river at this point is the River Loxley. The shops in the background are on the 'one-way section' of Holme Lane. The renovated Malin Bridge Corn Mill is also visible in the background. 971215 1539997 1540057 1541921 |
