English: River Lark, Prickwillow Just above Prickwillow Bridge, the River Lark rounds a right angle bend; this is looking upstream. The river was once navigable as far as Bury St Edmunds; the heyday for commercial craft would have been between about 1750 and 1850, after which the railway killed off the trade. Today, the river is navigable for about 10 miles as far as Judes Ferry, near West Row. |
