Description
English: River Leen Siphon The River Leen crosses under the Canal at this point. It has been heavily canalised to minimise the effects of flash flooding, but I believe that originally the Leen fed into the Nottingham Canal and would have weired over into this watercourse. The location is certainly the point at which the Beeston Canal joined the Nottingham Canal.
