English: River Sow bridge at Little Bridgeford A small sign says that the bridge was constructed by K Holst & Co. Engineers and Contractors. It appears to be formed by driven precast concrete piles supporting other precast concrete elements. The date of construction is probably post-war and must pre-date the merger in 1969 to create Norwest Holst. K. Holst was founded by a Danish engineer in 1918 to specialise in reinforced concrete structures. |
