| Description |
English: River Witham. Looking across the river from one flood bank to the other, ie from Langrick Bridge settlement, just downstream of the bridge, across to Langriville civil parish. The water level in the river is about 2 metres above the surrounding farmland and is controlled by a sluice gate and lock in Boston. See 416479 and 777322. A quiet and pleasant boating route from Lincoln to Boston, there are only 4 locks to negotiate on the 36 mile journey. |
