Description
English: The Riviera delle Palme Stadium (Riviera of the Palms Stadium) is the main sports facility in the city of San Benedetto del Tronto. Built in the first half of the eighties, the name Riviera delle Palme refers to the tourist area of the city itself. Initially it had a capacity of around 22,000 and was later reduced to around 14,000 to comply with safety standards in stadiums. Inaugurated on 13 August 1985 in a friendly football match between Sambenedettese Calcio and AC Milan.
Italiano: Lo Stadio Riviera delle Palme, è il principale impianto sportivo della città di San Benedetto del Tronto. Costruito nella prima metà degli anni ottanta, il nome Riviera delle Palme è relativo alla zona turistica della città medesima. Inizialmente aveva una capienza di circa 22000 posti in seguito, per sottostare alle norme di sicurezza negli stadi, è stata ridimensionata a circa 14000 posti. Inaugurato il 13 agosto 1985 in un incontro di calcio amichevole fra la Sambenedettese Calcio e l'AC Milan.

English: The stadium, with a steel supporting structure based on a structural project by the engineers Anghilleri, Bartolomei and Marchetti and architectural by the architect. Vincenzo Acciarri, was completed in the mid-1980s and awarded in Luxembourg as the best steel sports work of 1985 by the European Steel Construction Association. Characteristic of the stadium are the four corner towers in prestressed reinforced concrete, there is a similarity with the towers, albeit small, with the towers of the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza and with those of the City of Manchester Stadium and Santiago Bernabéu Stadium before the 2019-2022 renovation, they favor the The inflow and outflow of spectators incorporate a small bar, toilets and light towers for lighting the sports facility.

Caratteristica dello stadio sono le quattro torri d'angolo in cemento armato precompresso, vi è una similitudine con le torri, anche se di piccole dimensioni, con le torri dello Stadio Giuseppe Meazza, con quelle del City of Manchester Stadium e Stadio Santiago Bernabéu precedente alla ristrutturazione 2019-2022, favoriscono l'afflusso e il deflusso degli spettatori, inglobano un piccolo bar, servizi igienici e le torri faro per l'illuminazione dell'impianto sportivo.
