Description
English: Portrait of two elegantly dressed ladies (both in white dresses, one in a red shawl), with sheet music.
Français : Deux jeunes femmes sont représentées en buste. Toutes deux sont de profil gauche. La première tourne le visage vers l’observateur, la seconde repose le sien sur l’épaule de sa compagne. Elles sont vêtues d’une robe blanche de type Empire avec des cheveux bouclés maintenus par un bandeau. La première porte un collier et un pendentif et tient de la main droite une partition de musique qu’elle montre avec son autre main, la seconde qui porte aussi un châle pourpre pose une main sur le bras de sa compagne.
