Français : Autoportrait présumé de Robert Lefèvre assis devant son chevalet supportant une toile vierge, tenant une palette et des pinceaux. L’artiste qui porte une longue blouse sombre aux larges revers et cols, laissant ressortir une chemise blanche qui dégage bien son visage de trois-quarts, est assis jambes croisées sur une chaise dorée de style Empire aux revêtements de velours vert. Une Légion d’Honneur discrètement épinglée au manteau du peintre, et dont la couleur rouge se retrouve de manière plus appuyée sur la palette, permet de dater notre toile après juin 1820, moment où Robert Lefèvre reçut la décoration des mains du roi Louis XVIII. L'oeuvre n'est pas signée, mais selon la tradition familiale en vigueur dans la famille ayant conservée l'oeuvre depuis le XIXe siècle jusqu'en 2020, le tableau a été acheté par un aïeul qui était un ami de Robert Lefèvre, puis conservé par descendance. Le sujet a toujours été connu comme l'autoportrait de l'artiste. La physionomie du personnage est d'ailleurs semblable à celle de l'autoportrait de Robert Lefèvre aujourd'hui conservé au Musée des Beaux-Arts de Caen
