Summary edit

Description Portland - architects hold a protest "picnic on the riverfront" in the East Bank Freeway (i-5) right-of-way. This event can be considered to be the turning point in Portland's formerly dowdy image, when established organizations stepped forward to join lone activists in demanding a better cityscape.
