English: Roberto's restaurant, Halifax Road, Dewsbury This rather spectacular building is stuck onto the end of Pioneer House (the former Co-op department store). A pity that the shop units are empty, but at least there is a restaurant upstairs in what was a banking hall. Stuart Hartley wrote (A walk around Dewsbury town centre) that most of the stained glass and ceramic tiles have survived. |
