Robin St. John was born Raymond Steven Vunetich, Jr., in East St. Louis, IL, on January 16, 1962. He chose the artist name Robin St. John, out of respect for a cousin, Robyn St. John, whose life had ended abruptly. Vunetich's methods of promoting his music, art, and ideals have been considered most controversial by some, and has had a tendency of "throwing the camp into quarrels" in the past. Many dismiss Vunetich's work as "mystical fantasy"; however, he seems to be only a tad omniscience in almost all subject matter. It will be interesting to see what he brings to the forefront in the future. Unfortunately, there are no published works by Vunetich at this time. His most popular song is "Jupiter (Almost a Star)", devised of synthwaves, dedicating the work of Carl Sagan. M. H.
