Summary edit

Description
English: 1865 Groombridge and Sons edition of Robinson Crusoe. Alexander Frank Lydon (1836-1917) was a British artist who produced a lot of natural history work, including parrots, other birds, and fish among much else. Grooombridge put out this edition in the mid 19th century and I believe it went through at least a few printings over a number of years, but I am not certain. Four people row a small boat while at least five others sit, one steering. The boat is tossed by the surf and waves, while a large sailing ship is visible at sea beyond the large waves and cliffs. A light house stands on the cliff.
