| Description |
English: Rochdale station 1980 Rochdale station's platforms shortly after rebuilding. This is half of the previous station: the other half is just visible as a walled-off platform edge on the left of the photo. A single bay platform was retained for Oldham loop trains, but from 1980 almost all ran as a circular service Manchester-Moston-Rochdale-Oldham-Manchester and vice versa. The train on the right is leaving for Oldham. |
