Description
English: Rock cannon near Cwm Mawr. The shot-holes were filled with gunpowder and a trace of powder was placed in the grooves connecting them. When the fuse was lit the powder would explode in a satisfying series of bangs. They are a common feature in the quarrying districts of north Wales.
