Description
English: Rocky coastline at Nessend Evidence of early settlements on Holy Island has been found at Nessend, where a quarry that produced in excess of 2500 flints of mesolithic age. Later limestone was quarried here and transported to the lime kilns via waggonways. There are caves here too.
