English: Rooster Hall in Demopolis, Alabama, United States. Built as the Presbyterian church in 1843, it was used for a short time during Federal Reconstruction as the Marengo County courthouse. It was sold by the church in 1869. After being acquired by the city, it was leased to the Demopolis Opera Association in 1876 and used as the Demopolis Opera House until 1902. In 2010, it continues to be owned by the city and used for a variety of functions. |
