Description
Deutsch: Takenplatte oder Kaminplatte mit Darstellung eines oboespielnder Gauklers mit Federschmuck und Narrenkappe am Kopf und einem zur Musik tanzendem Hund. Die Figuren befinden sich in einem mit Blattdekor gekröntem Wappen, das sich widerum ein einem medaillonartigen Kreis befindet.

Lothringen 18. Jahrhundert. In der "Takenplattenbiebel" von Karheinz von den Driesch wird diese Platte behandelt und die Person als Flötenspieler beschrieben. Bei genauerer Betrachtung von Spieler und Instrument fallen jedoch die aufgeblasenen Backen des Spielers auf, was auf eine erhebliche Kraftanstrengung hindeutet. Auch die Bauweise des Instruments mit Wulst am Mundstück (bei einer Pommer (Schalmei) werden die Roheblätter ganz in den Mund genommen) und dem Schalltrichter unten ist eindeutig ein Indiz für ein Doppelrohrblattinstrument und keine Blockflöte.
