Summary

edit
Description
English: Rosslyn Hill chapel The site goes back to the 17th century, when a group of Dissenters or Nonconformists, including Presbyterians and Congregationalists, met here. Their meeting house was registered in 1692, following the Toleration Act of 1689 which permitted Dissenters to gather for religious worship. The present structure is Victorian, built in 1862 of Kentish ragstone with Bath stone doorways and stained glass windows by William Morris and Edward Burne-Jones.
