Description

Werkzaamheden op Rotterdam Centraal Station.

Rotterdam Centraal is een belangrijk vervoersknooppunt. Met 110.000 reizigers per dag verwerkt het stationsgebied evenveel reizigers als luchthaven Schiphol. Naast de aansluiting op het Europese net van hogesnelheidstreinen (HSL-Zuid) krijgt Rotterdam Centraal ook een aansluiting op de lightrailverbinding RandstadRail. Door de komst van de HSL-Zuid en RandstadRail is de verwachting dat het aantal reizigers op Rotterdam Centraal in 2025 zal zijn toegenomen tot zo’n 323.000 per dag.
