Rotvoll Sykehus var et tidligere psykiatrisk sykehus, oppført 1867 - 1872 (arkitekt Ole Falck Ebbell) på gården Rotvoll Nedre. Sykehuset ble ut- og ombygd 1919 - 1928 (arkitekt O. B. Holtermann), fra 1980 kalt Charlottenlund sykehus og ble nedlagt 1990. Fra 1994 har HiST hatt tilhold her.

I D-fløyen fra 1872 har Nordenfjeldske Psykatrihistoriske museum hatt tilhold siden 1996.

Fire av sykehusets avdelinger og ca. 80 daa. dyrket mark ble beslaglagt av tyskerne under den annen verdenskrig, og det ble oppført en stor bunker her. I tillegg hadde tyskerne en leir for serbiske krigsfanger på området.
