English: On this image you can see an otolith of round goby. We can determine age of fish by the otoliths.This photo shows otolit of round goby that lived for three years. Українська: На цьому фото зображен отоліт бичка кругляка Neogobius melanostomus. Опис зображення: Отоліти це тверді утворення, що є частиною органу рівноваги риби. Реальні розміни їх становлять близько 0,3-0,5 см. Впродовж життя та розвитку риби ростуть і отоліти. При цьому відбувається наростання опакових та гіалінових кілець, що відповідають періодам "літо" та "зима". Коли риба активно живиться формується опакове кільце, а під час зменшення активності - гіалінове. Відповідно чергуванню смугам отоліта можна визначати вік риби. На даному фото зображено отоліт бичка кругляка, що прожив три роки. |
