| Description |
English: Route 66, Market Street, Omagh. This record store has moved shop from first floor premises further along the street. The building used to be occupied by the First Trust Bank and has retained the ATM machine. Previously to that it was the Belfast Trustee Savings Bank but shortly after First Trust took over, it was closed and staff were either made redundant or transferred to other branches. I can remember going into the TSB in the early 1970's with a view to getting a mortgage for a house and having to take my business elsewhere as they were not so forthcoming to lend money in those days. |
