| Description |
English: Preserved Routemaster bus RM910 (reg. EDS 288A), pictured during the 2009 Glasgow Vintage Vehicle Trust open day. Having become part of the GVVT collection in June 2009, it's pictured here still wearing the commemorative madder & white Edinburgh Corporation Tramways style livery applied by its previous owners, the Lothian Bus Club, to mark the anniversary of the tram systems closure in 1956. While the Edinburgh tram system's successors Lothian Buses did use a madder and white livery, RM910 never entered their fleet. It did however see use in Scotland from 1986 to 1993 in the Glasgow based fleet of Kelvin Scottish, and shortly after this picture was taken it entered a restoration programme, emerging in January 2010 having been repainted into its former Kelvin livery of yellow & blue. |
